Bill and Rob dive deep into the ongoing browser battle. See what differentiates Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera. See them race. Use their developer tools. Try their add-ins. We will also look at upcoming trends with HTML5, CSS3, GPU acceleration, and same markup.

Bill Wolff is an independent consultant, trainer, and architect specializing in Microsoft development technologies. His company Agility Systems is based in the Philadelphia area. He served as a Solutions Architect in the Microsoft Practice at Unisys Corporation. He ran the consulting firm Wolff Data Systems for 15 years and directed armies of consultants in the dot com world. Bill is founder and President of the philly.net user group, a previous INETA board member where he served as Vice President, Speaker Bureau, and involved in several other user communities. Bill was a contributing author on several books. His certifications include trainer, systems engineer, developer, and Microsoft MVP for VB.NET.

Rob Keiser is a .NET developer, Architect and freelance writer for PC Today magazine. He has been building Windows application using various languages and tools for the past 20 years. His company Row 5 Information Systems has been creating solutions using Microsoft Technologies for 15 years. Rob is the leader of the Windows Special Interest Group of the Philadelphia Computer Society where he gives talks and answers questions on the Windows operating system. His certifications include Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft MVP for VB.NET.

Cloud mashups are a new type of application that combines cloud computing services from multiple clouds with your on-premises data and services rapidly into a single service or application. This session will demonstrate practical means of building these types of applications, focusing on the key issues, specific best practices, and lessons learned for their creation and deployment. The session will share techniques for fusing Azure applications and on-premises data and services using oData, Internet Service Bus, and Silverlight client and mobile technologies to rapidly and securely create applications that extend enterprise data across clouds to partners and customers.

Mike Heydt is a Senior Technology Manager in the SunGard Consulting Advanced Technologies Group.
